About Me

My name is Courtney Pearson and I am from Vancouver, BC. I have been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon.

I have a love for animals and am an active board member of CETFA (Canadians for Ethical Treatment of Food Animals). I enjoying spending time with my Parrotlet Tinkerbell, my dog Lucky and my hamster Rhino.

Some of my hobbies include: drawing, animal training (dogs and birds), dog agility mermaids, watching movies, writing, playing video games, and reading!

I have a diploma in Commercial and Digital Animation at Capilano University. I specialize in character design and animation.

Where most of the magic happens!
My ultimate industry goal would be working at Pixar as a character designer. That would be my own personal fairy tale ending... For now, I'm doing commissions and working part-time as a dog bather! I hope to one day be able to turn animation and design into my full-time career!

I have experience animating in Flash, but am most comfortable working in Maya. I use Photoshop almost daily for everything from character to web design.
